Aleksandra Bursać (Belgrade, October 26, 1988) is a Serbian singer. She distinguished herself by participating in the second and fourth seasons of the singing competition Zvezde Granda (Grand Stars). She was born on October 26, 1988, in Belgrade. She grew up with her mother Dušica and younger sister Milica in the Zemun neighborhood. She lost her father early; he was killed during "Operation Storm." Her father was originally from the village of Plavno near Knin. She finished elementary school in Zemun, simultaneously attending primary music school (violin). As a child, she wanted to learn to play the piano or guitar. She enrolled in the "Dimitrije Davidović" Legal and Business High School and graduated from the private John Naisbitt University in Belgrade. She fell in love with music as a child, thanks to her mother, and sang in the "Kolibri" choir. Her real beginnings came at age 16, when she performed at a venue in Zemun, filling in for her friend and singer Marina Visković; she continued singing there for the next three years. During a performance on a riverboat, she was spotted by an associate of Saša Popović—musician Žika Jakšić from Grand Production—who suggested she apply for Zvezde Granda. She did so in 2005; she did not make it to the top 12 and did not get a song. In 2008, she applied again; although she did not perform in the grand finale at the Belgrade Arena, by placing in the top 12 she received her first professional song, "Padale su kiše" (Rains Fell). She gained even more popularity and showcased her talent by singing Merima Njegomir's song "Ivanova korita" on a hits compilation. She later applied for the third Aksal Festival with the song "Kad mi kaže" (When He Tells Me), which became popular. Since 2012, she has released the following songs: "Mala, mala," "Jabuka," "Slomljena od bola," "Dobri momci ne postoje," "Prva liga," "Suze kukavice" (with DJ Erke and E One), "Što te nema ljubavi" (duet with Miloš Brkić), "Grom," "Čini mi se da sam se zaljubila," "Radim protiv sebe," and "Manastir" (with Mirko Plavšić). She participated in the show Prvi kuvar Srbije (Serbia's First Cook), which aired on Pink TV in 2012. Before her performance at the Aksal Festival, it was reported that she was beaten by her boyfriend Darko Nedeljković—which she denied; she broke up with him in 2010. She was in a relationship and engaged to Boris Martinović (starting in 2011). In 2017, she was in a relationship with her colleague Miloš Brkić. She was also in a relationship with athlete Zoran Uglješić, with whom she lived in Zemun. Her best friend is Marina Visković, and her musical idol is Ceca. Saša Popović helped her regarding her professional beginnings. She has pet rabbits named Šapica and Njuškica. Among other things, she suffers from acrophobia (fear of heights) and hydrophobia/thalassophobia (fear of water/sea). Since 2024, Aleksandra has been married to Stevan Sekulić, with whom she has a daughter named Kasija.
