About Daniel Levak

Daniel Levak is a German electronic and techno music producer and DJ hailing from the area near Frankfurt. Growing up immersed in the burgeoning Acid House scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s, he developed a love for electronic music from a young age, citing Daft Punk as an early inspiration. He spent his formative clubbing years in venues like Exposed, absorbing the sounds of Minimal, Tech House, and Techno.   Driven by his passion, Levak honed his skills as both a DJ and producer. His involvement in the electronic music scene expanded to setting up his own events and promoting club nights. This culminated in 2016 with the launch of the Aquaphobie Festival in his hometown of Erlenbach, which quickly grew into a significant electronic music event for the city.   Musically, Daniel Levak found his niche between Tech House and Techno. His productions are characterized by complex rhythms, throbbing beats, and futuristic tones, often featuring mesmerizing beats and intense basslines. He blends influences from techno, house, and acid to create his distinct sound, aiming to transport listeners through electronic soundscapes. His first single, "Social Squad / Wax," marked a significant step in his career when it was picked up by the record label Audio Safari in late 2018. This established a strong connection with the label, with numerous subsequent releases including tracks like "Joke It," "Dance Like a Freak," and contributions to various "Audio Safari Amsterdam" and "Audio Safari Passion" compilations. Beyond Audio Safari, Daniel Levak has released music on other labels such as Formatik, Baikonur Recordings, LEFT, TRAGEDIE, Alaula Music, Criminal Bassline, Mainground Music, and Natura Viva. He has also collaborated with other artists, including Channel B and VEENMOL.   Daniel Levak is recognized as a rising talent in the electronic music scene, known for his creative approach to music production and dedication to his craft. He has garnered support and plays in big techno playlists on Spotify and has performed at various events and festivals, including World Club Dome and Darmstadts Nacht der Elektronischen Musik.
