DJ Istar, also known as Daniel Bigler, is a Swiss DJ and producer with a career that began in the 1990s. Initially rooted in Jungle and Drum & Bass, he was a resident at the renowned Wasserwerk club in Bern and a regular performer across Switzerland, including at the Streetparade in Zürich. Over the years, his musical style has evolved to embrace a wide spectrum of electronic music. He is a prolific producer and the founder of several record labels, including: Sunrising Records, where he releases various styles of House music (like Afro House and Disco House).
