About Elma Sinanovic
Elma Sinanović (born 5 August 1974 in Novi Pazar) is a Serbian turbo-folk singer who became popular in the 1990s. She began her career after winning an amateur singing competition in 1993, releasing her debut album Dva prstena the same year. Over the years, she released several successful albums and became known for her emotional vocal style. After a long break from music, partly due to the death of her husband and former manager Smail Sinanović, she returned in 2018 with the album Nešto lično. She has one daughter, Hulija. Elma remains recognized as one of the notable voices of the Balkan turbo-folk scene.
