About Jelena Kostov

Jelena Kostov was born in Dimitrovgrad, Serbia, a small town near Bulgaria. She completed elementary school in her hometown of Dimitrovgrad, followed by High School of Music in Niš and the Music Academy, also in Niš. She was a participant in the fourth season of Zvezde Granda (Grand Stars), reaching the very end of the competition and taking 7th place in the final show. As a prize, she received the song "Nisam bila spremna" (I Wasn't Ready). She filmed two music videos in Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates: the first song "Nagle promene" (Sudden Changes) with colleague Stefan Jakovljević, and the second song "Biću jača" (I Will Be Stronger), filmed in the desert. In 2016, she released the song "1005."
