About Matt Star

Born with an innate love for electronic and techno music, Matthias Schildger's journey began at the age of 8 in 1995 when he was recording tapes of a German radio show, Hr3 Clubnight. When he was 12, in 1999, he made his first musical attempts, using a PlayStation to experiment with sounds, while his peers were engrossed in games like Super Mario and Pac-Man. His unconventional approach yielded promising results, prompting him to delve deeper into music production. In 2006, his dedication bore fruit with the release of his debut record. During that year, Matt developed his style and separated it into many different aliases under which he plays and produces, such as Binary Operator, Star_Dub, CNTRL, Polyfan Polyphenix, or his real name, Matthias Schildger, just to name a few. He is a mainstay in the regional and international house and techno scene, debuting his talents honed over years of DJing and producing. With a rich history in shaping the regional electronic landscape, Matthias has been a driving force through his roles at DBH (Vinyl Distribution) and Mainrecords (Record shop in Offenbach). His upcoming productions and DJ sets promise to showcase the depth of his influence and innovation.
