theSos is a Kenyan reggae and dancehall artist best known for his breakout hit “Gift of Life.” With over a decade in the industry, he is a singer, songwriter, and self-taught producer who creates and releases music through his own label, Skika Music. Since launching his career in 2006, theSos has produced standout tracks like “Little Star” by Ousmane and the cross-continental Painter Riddim with Black Supremacy Sounds. His recent collaborations include “Rafiki” with Aust-Eazy and Bupe.He is currently wrapping up a 17-track album, featuring the heartfelt single “No Mother Like You,” a duet with his mother, Janet Sospeter. Drawing inspiration from artist like Lucky Dube and Rebecca Malope , theSos infuses faith, truth, and rhythm into every track he creates.
