Chromatic Drift №1

Chromatic Drift №1

A violet colour field caught mid-collapse — the first study in the Chromatic Drift series.

On public display · the editions below show how this work would be offered.
About this work

Chromatic Drift №1 opens the series: a violet field, laid down in thirty translucent passes, photographed as it dries and re-composited until the colour starts to disagree with itself. Up close the surface breaks into grain and interference lines; at distance it settles back into a single calm plane. The piece is on public display here in full — collecting an edition makes it yours and unlocks the full-resolution original for download and print.
