Orbit Creators Night: Nairobi

On 22 August, Orbit held its first Creators Night in Nairobi — the first chapter, the first channel, the blueprint for everything that follows. Days later, the Kenyan Creators channel went live.

Kenyan Creators is rooted in reggae and the sound systems that carry it, hosted on the ground by Moses Sospeter (theSOS) of Skika Film & Music. Like every Orbit channel, it keeps its own rights and its own audience — Orbit only provides the rails — and artists are paid the second someone presses play, not months later, out of a pool.

This is chapter one. There will be many more.
