The living legend CJ Bolland is back on Harthouse and guys, the name of the EP says it all! Three bangers that'll make you sweat, we promise. Are you into broken and distorted beats combined with an irresistable oldskool electro charme and robotic vocoder vocals that we all grew up with thanks to Sven Väth and so many other talented artists? Well, then the a-side Fire should probably trigger tons of memories and associations in you. But CJ Bolland is not only keeping it oldskool, he also strikes a way darker tone with the b-side Destitute. CJ clearly gives us a class on 90s techno music. This is an underground, straight forward stomping, hellish piece of perfection that will make you lose your mind. Down All The Way, the last track on this banging EP, takes up seamlessly and spoils us with another feeling of déjà vu. CJ manages to pack so much energy into one track in such a sophisticated fashion, it's almost ridiculous! Techno at its best with little reprieve but all the more aha moments. Thanks CJ Bolland
