For the third Ashram Records release we are proud to present SIAAH, a Berlin based DJ and producer from Tehran, who is known from releases on Pipe & Pochet or Lump Records. SIAAH has a gift for bringing together traditional music with modern downtempo house beats, collaborators for Kawir EP are Iman Deeper, HATAMI and Sabah Alizadeh. Inspired by nostalgic desert vibes, the traditional instruments and vocals are brought to the next level here with organic, fresh electronic beats.
