Echate EP
Burak Sar a.k.a. SIS has come a long way since his gipsy-folk influenced smashing House hit Trompeta in 2008. Signed by Ricardo Villalobos to his Sei es Drum label, it launched his career into new heights, with a long list of releases and live appearances in the following years. He has gone onto having his music featured on labels such as Cocoon, Desolat, Cecille, Get Physical Music, Crosstown Rebels, as well as on his very own Cocolino imprint. He lands today on Aloe Musique with two contemporary and fresh sounding tracks showing that he is very well in his element and on form these days as ever before. Echates catchy bass line and pad atmospheres unfold over piano chords and an ethnic percussion melody, while an acid synth comes up midway through to kickstart the rhythm all over again. Laga Lugas faster, hypnotic and hazy: at 12 minutes of length, its shuffling whirlwind of drums and one note analogue sounds is a fine example of Techno mesmerism.
