Demokratie - Wir stehen auf diese Freiheit

We are grateful that we in Germany now are living in a democracy. There are about 80 million opinions in Germany on how democracy works. However, we learn the basic rules of democracy very early on: many families have a family council, class representatives, school representatives and school parliaments are elected at school and from the age of 18 we can elect parliaments. "Suppi Huhn und die Kinderkönige" sing songs about the basic values of our democracy: communication, respect, integration and peaceful coexistence. The group premiered the song "Demokratie - Wir auf diese Freiheit" at the reception of German President Frank Walter Steinmeier in the park of Bellevue Castle. Many children are to sing this song from 2018. Suppi Huhn records complete primary schools in different countries and produces a large choir, which can be heard on the songs.
