About Costin Rp

Costin Rp, born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, is a performer and music producer who is dedicatedly shaping both his set appearances and his vinyl discography ever since his debuts more than ten years ago, back in 2012. Indeed, 2012 has been a turning point in Costin Rp life as he began to learn music production as well as to play his first creations during his very former gigs, which naturally led him to release his first - ever digital opus that same year. This is a couple years later in 2014 that Costin Rp released more of his music, and this time on vinyl as part of German label What You Want, one opening the road to a huge collection of 34 vinyl references out so far today, including records on some of the most solid labels around such as Atipic, Pressure Traxx, Rawax, Animal Crossing or more recently on Bipolar. Costin combines a refined taste with a sophisticated sound, embodying the essence of contemporary electronic music, an essence which makes him a unique producer. Minimalistic, melodious and futuristic perfectly describe his sound. For the last decade, Costin Rp has been steadily designing his musical signature by means of rare yet impressive performances in unique venues such as Gazgolder, Sunwaves Festival, in Berlin’s iconic Club Der Visionaere and Hoppetosse or by opening the Circoloco season in Ibiza last summer, while he’s heavily supported by artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Priku, Petre Inspires cu or Barac just to name a few. Going even further, he’s baking one of the most meaningful projects he ever curated with the upcoming launch of his own record label, Garden Of Eden.
