About Dawn of Solace

Dawn of Solace is the Finnish gothic/doom metal project of musician Tuomas Saukkonen (Wolfheart). Originally formed in 2005, the band released its acclaimed debut, "The Darkness," before entering a 13-year hiatus. Saukkonen revived the project in 2019 with vocalist Mikko Heikkilä, releasing a series of new albums known for their heavy, melancholic sound.
