About Melinda Ademi
Melinda Ademi (born 1995) is an Albanian-American rapper and singer. Born in Mitrovica, Kosovo, she moved to the United States with her family as a refugee during the Kosovo War. She began her musical career in 2011 as a contestant on American Idol, eventually reaching the semifinals in 2013. While she released her first single in 2015, she gained significant recognition in the Albanian-speaking world with the release of her 2018 song "Lulija."
